This movie was recently released on dvd. It's a gay version of the old time horror slasher flick. I loved it. actually quite scary and tense.

definitely worth a rental.

smurfs are 48 years old! created in october 1958, the smurfs hit US tv in the early 80's. I still have a bucket at smurfs at my parents house. i just read that people accused the smurfs of being communists: living in communes and fighting off the evil capitalist gargamel! and his evil kitty azrael! it wouldn't suprise me, i guess. political groups trying to brainwash kids? no way!

i remember loving the smurf cereal, too.

I've lost 25 pounds in the last couple of months. due to a combination of actually eating breakfast and thyroid problem.

I enjoy the being skinnier part but the health problem is getting old. I feel like shit most of the time.

my sister and her two sons were here Wed-Sunday and we did all the tourist stuff seattle has to offer. they had a great time, I hope.

we went to the Sci-Fi museum and that was really cool. I snuck these pictures of the "Aliens" Queen monster and Ripley's cargo loader. Very cool.

my thyroid problem is back with a vengence. My Doc put me back on the drug but it's taking it's sweet time kicking in. I basically can't eat after 5 or so or I get terrible muscle pains in my legs. like where I can't stand up. Remember the crawling around incident? or the two paralysis incidences? Fun stuff!

also, I start to shake randomly and uncontrolably. Like ridiculous shaking, where people ask if I'm ok. and I can't sleep. and I'm a fucking Furnace all the time.

Suppossedly, the meds I was on for a year should have nuked my thyroid into submission for a decade at least, but here it is out of control again a mere 6 months later.

If i have to be on meds for the rest of my life - FINE - just don't make me live through this shit. I realize people live through much worse everyday - but why?

better living through presciption drugs is the way!
