While it is true that I didn't specifically Need any of this stuff... wait, I lost my Sensual World CD years ago and I was was itching to hear it the other night and I never got around to seeing "the Mist" and "Lake Placid 1" was excellent, so why not 2? "Spiderwick" is well loved and my friend with the same Ridiculous sense of humour as I have suggested "Disaster: the movie". the Robyn single will look nice on my shelf. So there.

I think people that build/program fake spyware trojan virus type software that automatically download and install themselves and then completely fuck up your computer to the extent that even system restore won't help and you have to re burn your hard drive and reinstall every god damn program...those people?

contemplating some consuelo inspired blog template changes this weekend, too. look out! whooo! I'm out of control.

Honestly, I'd be more inclined to go to the theater if there were comfy couches or recliners. also, comforters, pillows and crazy air conditioning.

contrary to popular belief, it really on rains...ok, drizzles here from October until April. it's been a rather dry and hot summer so this little cloudburst ( which has already stopped since I took the picture ) is quite welcome.

Ollie turned 6 while we were camping a few weekends ago, so we trekked back to Seattle and to volunteer park for a quick get together( No, we were nowhere near where THAT stuff goes on, thank you ). He got a lot of great presents from all the adults that came to celebrate. Well actually, there were only adults present because he is so clever that he only likes people who can actually buy him things.
smarty. the little shellacked alligator head was really cool and then there's also all this cool G.I.joe stuff that Some really awesome person got him and he played with for the next 2 days. yep.

earlier this evening I picked up fatty here and was carrying her and apparently squeezing her and....a sudden warm sensation down my right side, down my leg and onto the floor. I guess she really had to go. poor thing was totally embarrassed, too. she curled up into a ball in the corner and hid her face.

hours later she has forgotten. I think she probably had forgotten 2 minutes later, actually.

someone text'd me today saying come to my birthday party.
I didn't recognize the number so I said "who's birthday".
they said "mine, dood." it must be Marika. or Josh. but there was a distinct lack of expletives, so Marika is out. actually, it was Styles. I didn't have his number saved.

I didn't sleep very well and was an hour late to work. it was still a ten hour day.

I have a very loud cat that shrieks at full volume throughout the night for no apparent reason. she even puts her little cat face at the crack between wood and carpet and yipes in rapid succession. Brat. the landlord told me she yells at him under the door when he walks down the hallway. I wonder what conversations she thinks she's having. she's laying on the rug in the living room and cleaning her face just now.

I got a new work laptop and I mostly love it, except for the minor annoyance that emails take over a minute to open and then another minute to go back to the list page. oh wait. that's not minor at all. I couldn't get the speakers to work in the docking station so Marc was helping me and, of course, he got it to work and suddenly the CD I made for my Mom's birthday came blasting on and he's like "what the hell is that?" I guess he has never heard of Dusty Springfield.

I bought this old horror movie called "scarecrows" because several people had suggested I'd love it. I've had it for a few days but Haven't watched it yet. the trailer kinda scared me and then I started watching it and got a little creeped out. which is funny if you know me. I only get freaked out about little shacks in the forest.

actually, the fact that I haven't watched it yet shouldn't be surprising. I just counted 27 dvd's in my closet that I have never watched but own for some reason.

There's a door in the basement of my apt building that has no doorknob and 7 locks on it. 7? what the hell is in there? big foot? Amelia Earhart? or is it....my dignity?
