Watched this hilarious movie with Kyle, Marika, Rachel and Madelene ( and Mercedes the pussy )
It's kind of a female version of "American Pie" - completely vulgar and utterly Hilarious.

A defintite rental, although I feel the need to own it. and get the Unrated version.

#2 favorite band will be here on November 5th! UM and I are very excited.

Steve and I flew to San fransisco in 99 to see them and it was great. we met them at a signing at Tower records and made them promise to come to seattle on the next tour. Ok, 2 tours later - they will finally be here.

Seattle Pride and That Kind Of Stuff

Had a great time at the various pride things.
Saw lots of old friends. Got a little sunburnt and quite drunk.
did the capiotl hill aprade late saturday but skipped the one Sunday morning because you know about me and downtown. ( HATE IT ) I did wander around seattle center with Tony and watched all these fags dancing in the giant water type fountain. it was so hot out and there were so many people there.

then went down to the cuff for their annual block party. I always see everyone I know and it's always a great time.

friday night and part of saturday worked. UM was out of town so it was nice having the apartment to myself and TB.

went to Mike and Percy's for Mike's birthday aprty on saturday night. Kyle, Steve & doug went with me. Aparently, I choose a very white trash beverage at safeway (shmirrnoff grape is white trash ?) and kyle was embarrassed to be seen with me. Doug bought blue wine coolers but he is fine with white trash. it was cute. an interesting mix of people. and kitties.
then kyle gave me drugs and I went home and crashed hard. ok, it was just melatonin.

Sunday had lunch at la coc with the gang plus Consuello and Kyle. then showed Consuello Kyle's apartment. hugn out with Kyle some more and then went home and then went over to Casa Swenty for cheeseburgers, mary tyler moore and BEAR and ~Sydney~.

Blog about a weekend and a boy

apparently I'm not blogging enough.

I had a great weekend. Spent quality time and went out with friends, saw Poseidon at the Imax. LOVED it. great movie? NO - but it was great fun - especially the scene where the boat tips over.

So - there's something going on but i don't know what to say about it because I don't know what it is or how to define it ( maybe it doesn't need a definition? ) - it's really cool and of course all i can think about is 'how will i manage to fuck this up?'

All i really know is that i'm happier than i have been in years and I am really enoying it.

a Late Weekend Update

Friday
Malled. Coinsuello walkd over and visited and then we went to Red Robin and had cocktails.

Saturday
Hated everyone all day and then went out to the Cuff and then over to Re:Bar to see Harriette perform ( see 2 posts down ). Ended up having a great time.

Sunday
Lunch with Steve & Harriette. Weird weather ( see pic ). took a long nap. went to steve's and cut his hair, hung with the kitties, laundry, pat, etc.
Azteca for dinner with Kyle, Marika and Rachel. then Marika decided I needed a manicure. Learned the filthy and revolting but hilarious "colostomy bag hooker" story.

Monday
worked til 3. dinner in fremont with kyle and marika followed by ice cream at cold stone creamery. which was EVIL.

I discovered this song saturday and have now listened to it 700 times. It also has a great Cheesy '70's video.

Weekend Highlights

Here is Colony & Blyss performing at Re:bar saturday night. Fun times. Blyss (on the right) bears a striking resemblance to a certain Hariette Pottress.
