WEEKEND UPDATE

mostly a lo key weekend. did nada friday night, malled staturday and then chilled and then went to rescue marika with Bree. ended up at manray, joined by Kai, Kymono and her super fun new boyfriend, Joel. drunken stupidity ensued and the hangover was Legendary.

Sunday, Brunch with Harriette, followed by a grillout with Consuelo, Heidi and Lou-ann.

then went to Daft Punk and the Rapture at the WAMU center with Tommy, Brian and Erin. Super fun. However, remind me to skip all ages shows from now on.

you can bet your ass I'll be driving up to Vancouver to see the fucking Spice Girls on Dec. 2nd.

THE MIST

My all time favorite Stephen King Story, "The Mist", Hits the screens this November.
it stars Thomas Jane and Marcia Gay Harden, both of who I love.

"Following a violent thunderstorm, a small town community come under vicious attack from creatures prowling in a thick and unnatural mist. Yippee. I seriously cannot wait. I've been waiting 20 years for this movie.

Backstage Pass Bitches

because Rosie O'Donnel got them backstage passes, here's Mike & Percy with Andy and Vince ( Erasure, Duh ).

Had a marvelous time tuesday night at the Erasure concert. Was joined by mike, percy, Mattress, steve 2, Bree, Kai, Tommy and Ryan and Jay from vancouver. Great show, great set, great stage. Well Done.

My favorite Kimberly of all time, KYMONO, was able to join the festivities at the last minute. A gay old time was had by all.

Hilariously, Bree ran into Andy & Vince on 15th street yesterday. She confessed her undying love to them. I'm sure they thought it was cute.

I had a marvelous mini-vacation in myrtle beach last weekend. my flights sucked and there were infants very near on all 4 flights and it was deathly hot but I still had a great time. Great to see pete & his family and meet pete's awesome friends.
Swam in the ocean ( or fought off the waves ), bought souveniers at the gay dolphin, drank a lot, went to the KISS coffeee house, was almost killed by an out of control cop car, enjoyed the new harry potter movie and loved the morrissey concert.

I would definitely go back.

In The Seaside Town...

Flying to Myrtle Beach ( that's South Carolina, BTW ) tonight on a red eye to hang with my bud Pete and his family and friends.

I'm excited but apprehensive. I hate flying, I do. Which is funny considering how much I do it. It's gonna be crazy hot there, too. Maybe I'll jump in the ocean a few times? let's hope there are no sharks lurking nearby that day. You know it's my destiny to be shark fodder.

The Blushing Bride wore a Stunning Geisha Frock

Dead or Alive singer, Pete Burns strolled down the aisle with his long time partner last weekend. He wore a lovely Geisha style frock and a teeny balck veil. I love me some Pete! I also love the fact that his boyfriend is wearing the same boots pete wore on the cover of "sexdrive" in 1996.

Today

01. Some Crazy Lady backs into me as we are entering the parking ramp. HUGE BANG! the person behind me screams "oh my God!". the Lady drives off. Like she can escape into the parking ramp? It takes 4 levels of me honking at her to stop. "Uhh..you kind of backed into Me at the entrance. Didn't you feel that Huge Bang?"..."I never hit you. I did not!" I remind her of the cameras in the ramp entrace, but It takes another 20 minutes to get her insurance Info. There was very little damage but she was so stupid I was not letting her off the hook.

02. I am feeding Consuelo's gray cats for a few days. Managed to drop my cellphone into Jake's wet mush cat food. The charger port was all mucked up. spent 30 minutes dis-assembling the damn thing and scraping distgusting cat mush out of it. all three of them bit me. again.

03. I have been trying to get a receipt for someone's expenses for 2 days. I spent the entire day yesterday trying to get it and all this morning. I still don't have it. People should refrain from losing their receipts.

04. My apartment absorbs all the heat from the universe. I was up till 5 am, because I couldn't sleep and I was melting. Even tanQ laid directly in front of the fan. I took sleeping pills at midnight and nothing. LAME.

05. Other than that, Things are good. I'm still in a great mood from the fun I had over the weekend. Woot.

Went camping in Tinkhma with Bree. ( Tinkham is about 45 miles east of seattle ) Met Tommy there and a batch of his friends. Had a MARVELOUS time. Sad that I have never joined them before. it was a nice little party in the woods. Nice and chilly. Managed to gash my foot on a rock and then did some small scale river rafting. Hilarious.
It was a great time. A great group of people.
