Wednesday
Went to Z-tejas for Britney's going away party and did beers and appetizers. FUn stuff.

Met Tommy at Purr for a few drinks before Ladytron. Brian and Ben met us there.
The show was excellent, we were way in back but it was a small place. the pics are small but that is about what our view was like.

I'm still sad that Harriette was not able to go.

Not so into working today. Blah!

Errrr...I fucked Up

Monday night had Azteca with steve and doug and sat outside in the lovely spring air.

Jeni LOVES Azteca so I had to take this picture for her.

I bought a ticket to Ladytron for Harriette online a few weeks ago. Got the confermation email and everything. but then yesterday went to open and print out the confirmation email only to discover that I had input my card # wrong and didn't get the ticket.

So, ran down to the ticket place and found out it was sold out - then went to the venue and they said "nope, sorry". SO, I feel like a big asshole. He wasn't all that upset about it but I still feel terrible.

SO anyway, ladytron is tonight. yee haw. I hope they play all three of the songs I know and love. I just haven't gotten around to getting into them!

Crankus

Yes, I'm cranky today.
Weekend was unexciting. very much same old.

Cleaned my room sunday and was looking through some old pictures. There were ones of me from Iowa city college days ( '93 ) and I recall at the time thinking I was fat. I was Hot then compared to now. Sadness.

Seeing Ladytron tomorrow nigth with my concert buddy Tommy. and Mizz Pottress!
should be fun.

Weekend

malled on saturday. Dined with Harry.

had a lovely power outtage from about 10:30pm til about midnight. lame.

Sunday, did Easter dinner at casa swenty with steve, pat, brian, doug-e and jenny.

It was nice - great food but I wasn't feeling well.

I'm thinking about just having my stomach removed. it's just one problem after another.

well then

I didn't know Scooby Doo lives in Seattle.

A Million Years Ago

These are pictures of my bedroom way back in 200o when I lived in my pal Steve's house in south Seattle. With Tanq is Oscar, our wonderful bratty cat who was killed by dogs. Very Sad.

what's going on in your life?
it's funny how life can get in the way.
life is what happens when you're busy making other plans.

being "away" from my real life is both liberating and frustrating.
and extremely eye opening.

it also helps to examine my life from a distance. ( cue Bette )

i'm not spilling any beans here.

Cheating

This is Jasmine, or Jazzy-B, as i have renamed her. She's nutty cookoo crazy and she's my new best friend this week while i play soccer mom at my sister's.

Thus far, i didn't sleep 3 nights in a row AND had some minor food poisoning on sunday.
